Mutt Strutters the Package

I am available to walk between the hours 9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. Weekends and evenings by prior arrangements only. I will try to be as flexible as possible for you and your dog's needs.

The basics

I will pick your best friend up from your home and walk to the nearby fields or woodlands. They will be walked on the lead as to a time when I feel they may be let off the lead to be able to have some fun (if that is acceptable to you). I will then return to your home after approximately 1 hour. I walk no more than 2 dogs at a time, ensuring individual care and attention.

Initial meeting

After contacting by telephone or email we will arrange a date that suits all three of us to meet. The point of this meeting is so all parties can get to know each other especially the four legged one.

Walking requirements and any other on going training that I will need to know can be discussed at this point.

Bookings

Both regular & occasional clients are accepted, bookings may be made by either telephone or e-mail. Late bookings will also be taken when something turns up at short notice, as long as I can accommodate.

I will keep all regular clients updated with any holidays I intend to take well in advance so that you can make alternative arrangements where necessary.

Walking times and durations

Most walks are for 1hour from picking up your pooch to returning home. Walks may be slightly shorter in wintertime to allow for cleaning and drying off. Times will be allocated to suit your needs where possible.

I will always clean your pup off and dry down so I do ask you let me know where his or her towels are kept so to keep your house as clean as possible. Winter as we all know is wetter and muddier but it never stops them finding the biggest puddle or mud pile to have a good wade through. I am also happy to fill water bowls and feed if necessary.

Safety

The wellbeing of your best friend is the most important item for me, they will always be walked on the lead until they are in a safe area were they can be let off.

I do ask that your dogs vaccinations be up to date. I would also like to ask that you keep up to date with worming and fleaing as not to transmit to other dogs.

I am covered by an insurance policy for Public Liability up to £3,000,000, care custody and control £10,000, non-negligent cover (accident and injury to animals) £10,000.
However, it is still advisable that you provide your own insurance for your dog(s).

I will always clean up after dogs and dispose of in an appropriate manner.

Security

Most of the time I will have one of your house keys, I do have key loss cover in my insurance up to £2000.00. I will always make sure your house is safe and secure before I leave.
